NOTE: I have not finished many of the mod pages here, don't be surprised if you see a lot of dead ends right now (or always, I am notoriously bad at finishing things).
For other sources of Titanfall 2 modding, check the links below:
Remember to ALWAYS backup your game's files before replacing ANYTHING.
Downloads contains anything you may need to download for these mods.
Custom Audio Repo contains all of my custom audio I've cut and edited for myself. Use if you want.
The How-To Guides section has information that will be important for most instances of modding.
The Mod Guides section has information that will help you create specific types of mods. On this gitbook, we mainly get into sound modding.
Currently any downloads in this section were compiled with the Titanfall VPK Tool and thus will have the bloom bug. Use at your own frustration.
Viewmodel mods change your viewmodel positioning, i.e. where your weapon is.
Q: What is this page for? A: This page is to keep track of how to do specific mods (mostly audio related) for myself and for anyone else.
Q: Is there any code/content that isn't yours? A: Yes, I've had help on killsounds/titan killsounds/deathsounds and lobby music from the modding community. I figured out how to do the rest, apart from asking "what file is x done in?" in some instances.
Q: Are any of these considered cheats? Will I get banned for using any of these mods? A: The game does not consider any of these mods to be cheats. In fact, you can get away with just about anything in this game. However, I don't condone mods that are borderline cheating or actually cheating, therefore you won't see any of those kinds of mods here.
Q: Will these mods also work in Northstar? A: It depends. Northstar accepts mods a bit differently than regular Titanfall 2. For the mods I have currently, anything that modifies cl_gamestate.gnut will need a specific version for Northstar. That being said, the process is very simple.
Q: Why are so many of these pages incomplete? A: Frick you pal.
